SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
As airports become more and more crowded and are forced to expand, they eat up more and more space which just to park aircraft. Imagine if it were possible to create a multi-level airport. I was tasked by the JTC Corporation of Singapore to create an aircraft hangar to be able to park more aircraft on a given site. To be able to do this I created an aircraft lift. The lift is currently patent pending and is now being adapted to serve passengers and passenger terminals and has the ability to increase aircraft parking on a given by 50 to over 90 percent. The facilities designed around the lift are also result in unique architectural possibilities which, along with the lift system, are the basis for this submission.
