SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
The Bagby Pizza at the Woodholme Center is approximately 2,000 sf project located in the Pikesville area of Baltimore County. The design team was hired to create the flagship location for a fast casual take on the original Bagby Pizza restaurant in downtown Baltimore. The concept behind Bagby pizza focused on the offering fresh, local ingredients in an “as you like it” customizable option to be enjoyed in an inviting and vibrant space. The design team was hired to develop a recognizable interior design and brand. The interior design focused on efficiently circulating the customers through the different stages of ordering and dining within the restaurant. The palette used in this design was focused on reclaimed warm reclaimed woods, hand painted bricks, steels, crisp whites, and the highlight of the signature Bagby Pizza green. The custom designed steel tables and laser cut steel panels, fabricated by local artisans, are exaggerated in scale. These natural undertones provide a contrast to the sleek and bold designs of the signage within the space.
