SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
The original hotel was built 1962 and was converted by a new owner into Home2Suites, new from the Hilton Family of Hotels, an all-suite brand of extended stay hotels. The Baltimore city location is the first of this brand in the mid-Atlantic area, in an urban setting, and in a converted building. The 56,500 SF former Tremont hotel building required a complete interior renovation to accommodate the new hotel, bring the building up to code and ADA compliant, and achieve Baltimore City Green Building Standards.
